Navigate to the directory where the AxtraxNG setup package was downloaded and extracted, usually Downloads\AxtraxNG_27_7_x.x.
Right click on the file “firewall.cmd” and select “Run as administrator.
The firewall rule should now appear in the Windows Firewall configuration.

If the previous step fails ie you still can’t connect with a remote client or an AC-825IP will not initialize then you must manually create the rule as follows;
1. Open control panel and select Windows Defender Firewall.
2. Select “Advanced Settings” on the left
3. Select Inbound Rules on the left
4. Select New Rule on the Right
5. For Rule Type select Program
6. For This program Path enter;
      "C:\Program Files (x86)\Rosslare\AxtraxNG Server\AxtraxService.exe” .
   NOTE: On 32 bit systems the path will be;
      “C:\Program Files\Rosslare\AxtraxNG Server\AxtraxService.exe”.
7. For Action Select Allow the Connection
8. Leave all profiles selected
9. Enter “axtraxng” for the name then click Finish
