Navigate to the directory where the AxtraxNG setup package was downloaded and extracted, usually Downloads\Axtraxpro_28.....
Right click on the file “firewall.cmd” and select “Run as administrator.
The firewall rule should now appear in the Windows Firewall configuration.

If the previous step fails ie you still can’t connect with a remote client or an AC-825IP will not initialize then you must manually create the rule as follows;
1. Open control panel and select Windows Defender Firewall.
2. Select “Advanced Settings” on the left
3. Select Inbound Rules on the left
4. Select New Rule on the Right
5. For Rule Type select Program
6. For This program Path enter;
      "C:\Program Files (x86)\Rosslare\AxTraxPro Server\AxtraxService.exe” .
7. For Action Select Allow the Connection
8. Leave all profiles selected
9. Enter “axtraxpro” for the name then click Finish
10. Select New Rule on the Right
11. For Rule Type select port
12. Type TCP, port 3000-3006
13. For Action Select Allow the Connection
14. Leave all profiles selected
15.  Enter “axtraxpro3000” for the name then click Finish
16. Select New Rule on the Right
17. For Rule Type select port
18. Type TCP, port 5022 (or the port you want to use for WAN connection)
19. For Action Select Allow the Connection
20. Leave all profiles selected
21.  Enter “axtraxprowan” for the name then click Finish
